HIGHLY VISCOUS COLLOIDAL SILICATE CONCRETE DENSIFIER
Engineered through years of expertise and scientific innovation, Basecrete Intercept offers the ideal foundation to protect concrete from rust, water infiltration, and chemical exposure. Upon application, it penetrates deeply into the concrete matrix at a molecular level, seeking out and filling all voids within the structure—making it a powerful primary waterproofing solution for any concrete surface.
Prevent concrete problems before they ever start by applying a base coat of Basecrete Intercept to your fresh concrete pour or older existing concrete.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of sprayer should I use for application?
A low-pressure pump-type sprayer is ideal. Avoid using high-pressure sprayers, which can cause misting or uneven application. Apply two coats in quick succession removing excess material immediately. Do NOT allow excess material to dry on surface.
How long should I wait after pouring concrete before applying?
You should apply BASECRETE INTERCEPT as soon as the surface can be walked on without damage, typically within 24–48 hours of pouring. Early application maximizes penetration and ensures better hydration control and crack resistance during curing.
Do I need to prep the surface before applying to existing concrete?
Yes. For existing concrete, ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oils, curing compounds, or sealers that could block absorption.
Can I paint or coat over Basecrete Intercept?
Yes. Basecrete Intercept will not interfere with most paints, coatings, or overlays. Ensure the surface is dry and cured as recommended by the coating manufacturer before applying any topcoat.
Where can I purchase Basecrete Intercept?
Basecrete Intercept is available through over 4,000 dealers in the U.S. You can find a distributor using the Basecrete Find A Distributor locator map.
